The emergency lift Car Saver® is a mechanism that lifts the vehicle when it detects a dangerous rise in the water level caused by flooding in the garage.
Its structure consists of a patented lift system and a buoy for level detection. This system is nourished by a reservoir of compressed air and, therefore, electric current is not required for operating it. In rest position, the device remains folded at ground level, allowing that the vehicle gets easily into the garage.
The level sensor detects an increase of approximately 30 cm water level. Then, it opens the air passage to an airbag system located below the lift, which lifts the car enough for the water not to affect the sensitive systems of the vehicle. The rising always adapts itself to the height of the garage roof.
The lifting platform has been designed to lift and withstand the heaviest automobiles or several motorcycles. It is built with sheets and painted steel tubes and, optionally, it can be in galvanized steel.
