How to keep loading docks ventilated with maximum safety?
During the warmer months, some industrial buildings or logistics warehouses are concerned by the rise in temperature inside, which generates discomfort and thermal stress to the workers, consequently being harmful to the company's productivity.
In these cases, we recommend a simple and profitable cooling solution allowing to ventilate the entire area of the logistic loading dock and to improve its efficiency. We are talking about the safety barriers SAFE DOCK intended to prevent accidents and damage to equipment at the loading point.
The idea is to leave the sectional or roller shutter of the loading dock open during the working day and to protect the gap with a protection barrier. In fact, an open loading dock is always a potential danger zone where a fall of an operator or a forklift can easily occur due to the intense activity that always takes place in these work areas.
