Smart Chock
Smart Chock is an intelligent wedge that increases the security in the loading bay because it includes traffic lights and set up the operation through an aluminium wedge fitted with optical sensors that detect the truck wheel.
Its operation is very easy: you place the chock under the wheel and the interior operating panel sets up the door opening, while the exterior panel indicates the correct positioning. A convergent optic sensor, activated by the door, changes the signal from green to red and vice versa in both the exterior and interior panels, opening the way to the loading and unloading process. Once this is finished, the door closes and the lighting of the interior and exterior panels change its phase informing the driver that they can leave.
It is a totally secure blocking system thanks to the interior operation panel and the exterior communication one. These two panels include long lasting diodes of low voltage that, focused to the rear view mirror of the truck, they communicate constantly to the driver the situation of the door. Also, the signals from the interior operation panel inform the workers inside about the wedge situation during the whole process. Optionally, the Versalight dock light system can be added in order to increase the security.
