Dockrain
Dockrain is the innovative system to prevent both operators and cargo from getting wet when there are adverse weather conditions on the loading dock. And it is that one of the biggest problems when it rains, is windy or snows, is that the water flows through the roof of the truck and falls inside the building, wetting the staff and damaging the merchandise. Faced with this problem, we have devised a system that prevents water from penetrating inside the loading dock.
So how does this system work?
The Dockrain system works like a gutter that is placed inside the roof of the truck. One of the great advantages is that it can be adapted to all sizes, since Dockrain can be adjusted both in width and height.
After docking the truck, the Dockrain is placed into working position just below the roof of the truck either manually, electrically or hydraulically. The rainwater will exit the loading dock through the gutter while the interior of the building remains completely dry.
Thanks to this system, not only the personnel or the merchandise are safe, but also the logistical equipment such as the hydraulic dockleveller that can break down due to accumulated humidity. Thanks to Dockrain, a very expensive replacement is avoided.
