The systems of the sliding and redundant automatic doors Pass-Glass are approved to be used in emergency and evacuation exits. In daily use, they operate as normal automatic doors, but keep clear the exit for evacuation in case of emergency.
As automatic doors for emergency and evacuation exits, they comply with the most demanding requirements in terms of quality and safety, approved by the TüV organization according to the European standard EN 16005.
The installation of the redundant components does not modify the external appearance of the doors. The slender profile of the door brings it a smart aspect, meeting at the same time the highest requirements in terms of appearance and functionality. The redundant door scheme has been designed to open automatically in case of emergency and is equipped with both primary and secondary systems. The permanent control of the elements and the use of redundant motion sensors ensure that the door opens clearing therefore the evacuation exit in case of emergency. In addition, the redundant door system detects incidents such as failures in the electric power or faults of individual components. In these cases, the door opens immediately and is held in the open position.
The door is opened and closed as per the selected program. For example, the doors with locking system and integral lock are designed to be operated at night by a single authorized person through a key switch or an access code.
As for other models of sliding doors, the door having redundant system allows several finishes of glass and panels, such as panelling with synthetic products, aluminium or wood, camera glazing or safety tempered or laminated glass.
