The fire-resistant automatic glass doors Pass-Glass® combine three functions: they are an easy and barrier-free access to the daily traffic; in case of fire, they become a solid barrier against fire; and they also operate as an emergency exit.
For 30 minutes, they provide protection against heat, thus preventing the fire spreading. In case the alarm goes off, the door can be used manually as a two-sheet door which ensures the emergency evacuation. The integrated closure system guarantees that, once the door opened to help the emergency exit, it becomes once again a fire-resistant barrier.
In case of a smoke alarm, it prevents that this spreads through the building by closing the doors, which can be opened at any moment by means of an emergency opening switch. The glass panels, assembled on a stylish aluminium frame, include vertical profiles specially designed with eccentric shape and revolving for hermetic closure. Consequently, these automatic fire-resistant doors can be used in spaces where special insolation is required for greater protection against acoustic emissions and odours spreading.
Compatible with profile: special fire-resistance.
