Angel Mir cooperates with the 2019 UniRaid
Last February it was held in Morocco the supportive expedition UNIRAID, devoted exclusively to Spanish and Portuguese university students having business spirit.
Albert Font and Bernat Burés were among the 130 teams that during ten days travelled from north to south of the Moroccan desert, so famous touristically for more than 20 years, overcoming challenges and obstacles to deliver more than 30 kg of aid material to the poorest people in the area.
To do so, they had the financial help of several sponsors, including Angel Mir - Portes Bisbal, with the support of which they could prepare the car to withstand the harsh conditions and meet the objective. They also had a great collaboration with respect to the material, since they reached to deliver 350 Kg of educational, office automation and sports material, doubling the amount of the second team that collected the most (170 kg). We must also say that they participated in two more supportive projects, from which they won the prize for the best Solidarity Project of the 2019 Uniraid edition.
This collaboration is part of the Corporate Responsibility policy of Angel Mir - Portes Bisbal SL, aiming to support social and solidarity projects carried out by workers or people close to the company.
